Open Access Week 2021 - October 25-31, is an annual global event bringing together teaching and learning communities to discuss and put into action initiatives related to free and equitable access to research. This year's theme, “It Matters How We Open Knowledge: Building Structural Equity", focuses on how "diversity, equity, and inclusion must be consistently prioritized year-round and integrated into the fabric of the open community."
