All loan periods for library materials have been extended to 16 September 2020. No fines will accrue before this date. All overdue fees for library materials currently in our users' possession will be waived from March 13, 2020 until the current situation changes.

Online access to databases and electronic journal articles, ebooks, and other digital resources is available as normal through the library website, regardless of your physical location. Additionally, some publishers have lifted paywalls and technical restrictions during the collective response to COVID-19 to allow researchers to gain access to materials while social distancing or self-isolating.

The Library is providing print material pickup and mail delivery of print books to students, staff, and faculty. This service follows provincial and institutional COVID-19 guidelines for the safety of our staff and university community.
To serve our remote and regional patrons, mail delivery is available to those located outside the Prince George area (within Canada). Inter-office mail delivery is available for faculty on-campus. If you are a student or faculty member located outside Canada and need access to print material please contact us at library@unbc.ca so we can assist you with options and alternatives.

Library books can be placed in the return bins located outside the Library doors in Building 5, or at the Circulation Desk. The books will be quarantined for 72 hours before recirculating for the safety of staff and patrons.
