NEW: 24-Hour Study Space

by Nicole de Blois on 2022-05-02T11:22:13-07:00 | Comments

The 1st floor of the library is now open 24-hours a day!

Here's how it works:

The Library Services desk and 2nd-4th floor will close according to the scheduled Library Hours. The 1st floor study space remains open 24-hours a day. This newly renovated space includes group study tables, laptop tables, a computer lab, and casual seating; and a study room is coming soon.

How to access the university after hours:

After 11pm, entrances to the university are locked, but UNBC faculty, staff, and students can still access the university using a buzzer at the main university entrance. To access the space after 11pm, simply push the silver button at the main entrance's accessibility door, then security will buzz you in.

Remember your UNBC ID!

Because this space is only intended for use by UNBC affiliated individuals after 11pm, you may be asked by security to show your UNBC ID card, either at the door when you are being let in, or while using the 24-hour space.

We hope you enjoy the newly renovated space!
