Since 2018, the month of May has been celebrated as Canadian Jewish Heritage month. 

Canadian Jewish Heritage month aims to highlight and celebrate Jewish Canadians. It is important to recognize the role Jewish Canadians have played in many areas of Canadian history and life, including culture, politics, and sports.
