Data should be properly prepared for deposit to make sure it will be discoverable, and to ensure that it will make sense to potential future users. Proper file preparation includes file naming, data documentation, data description, and data licensing and/or terms of use.
Note: if you are uploading your data to facilitate anonymous data access during publication peer review, no review of your data deposit will take place. You are encouraged to follow the best practices for data preparation as outlined in this guide, but they are only required for data deposits that are published.
