There is no one-size-fits-all donation procedure when donating to an archives!
We have prepared donation guidelines and steps for different types of donors:
We recommend preparing some or all of the information requested by these guidelines before contacting us about your donation. However, we can also simply begin with a discussion. Based on the information you are able to provide to us about the records, we will mutually decide if your donation will be an appropriate fit in the Northern BC Archives & Special Collections. Once the donation is accepted we will send you a legal transfer of gift agreement to complete the donation process.
