Historical Land Use Research in Northern and Central BC

Municipal and Regional District Records

To access local municipal or regional district records, you will need to contact the regional district, municipality, and/or local museum/archives for the specific community you are researching. UNBC's Northern BC Archives does not generally hold official municipal or regional district records, with some exceptions.

For records relating to sites within Prince George city boundaries, contact the City of Prince George and/or the Exploration Place (E.F. Ted Williams History Centre).

For records relating to sites outside of Prince George city boundaries within the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George, contact the Regional District.
